IN A CLASSROOM OF 30 CHILDREN… HAVE YOU NOTICED?

In a classroom of 30 children have you noticed:

  • 3 have learning disabilities
  • 3 have food allergies
  • 3 have respiratory allergies
  • 3 have skin allergies
  • 3 have asthma
  • 3 have attention disorders
  • 1 has autism

Have you ever wondered why?

Author: A Ventography!

A Ventography is about: 1. Encouraging and empathizing with other parents on the autism spectrum. 2. Recycling and simplifying information on the latest autism news and health and diet tips. 3. Asking thought provoking questions designed to make us rethink what we've been told about autism. 4. Helping connect the dots that show, in some cases, autism is more than a brain disorder. 5. Challenging parents to rethink what they've been told, refuse the status quo, and escape the whirlwind of confusion.

  1. AMAZING video. It’s not the vaccines causing this it, the vaccines are just an added irritant. It the GUT flora…check out the GAPS diet. It will cure ALL of these issues. My children have ALL of the list of issues…..

  2. Thanks for posting this. This is so very important & such a large scale issue nowadays.

As a mother to a son with classic autism, there are a few things I’d like to share.

He is one of four members of my family that meet the diagnostic criteria for ASD (one is in generation y, three are in generation z – him included).

My brother and I had a discussion not so long ago about the link between allergies/asthma/ASD/ADHD – the four A’s.

All of these conditions (aside from adhd) are hugely prevalent in our family.
My brother and I are both asthmatic. I have been hospitalised for it in the past. I suffer from excema/dermatitis which has always (like clockwork) been far worse in the months following any of my tetanus shots.

When I was nine, I was bitten by my pet mouse and had to have a tetanus shot. That was the same year my dermatitis on my hands flared up to the point where I could no longer hold a persons hands because my own were always weeping or peeling.

At the same time I mysteriously developed a very embarassing GI issue of unknown origin. For approximately a year, I would pass loose, badly smelling stools several times a day. This made going to toilet at school a nightmare. Giardia (spelling?) was ruled out. Doctors never did find a cause and eventually the problem disappeared on its own. I vaguely remember having a test to see if my body could break down certain proteins. I remember the results came back borderline, meaning that there was some sort of problem.

Strangely enough, my eldest son who has Autism also has bad GI issues. He makes loud gulping noises alot in his sleep, and often vomits, seemingly for no reason at all.
His stools fluctuate from constipation to very loose. He also has numerous food intolerances.

I apologise for the long-winded family history but the point I am getting to is this.

if this is all hereditary, then why haven’t my parents, their siblings or their parents ever had any record of similar problems? Better diagnosis some might say. Really though?

Two of my family members are NON-VERBAL (one is slightly younger than I am, an adult). But why no further back than generation Y and why so prevalent in generation x? Why don’t I have any older non-verbal relatives? Where are all the autistic older generation? In group homes?

I used to work in a group home environment and I can tell you first hand, that is NOT the case.

Its not simply a case of better diagnosis. We have a huge problem on our hands, and the medical profession is doing their best to sweep it under the rug.

Sure, Autism definitely runs in families, but then again, so does heart disease. We all know heart disease can in most cases, be avoided.

Would we say to someone with a history of heart disease, “You’re going to die of heart disease when you’re older anyway, so you might as well not bother to exercise and eat all the crap you want”? Of course we wouldn’t! So why are we treating the relatives of people with Autism, Allergies, ADHD etc like guinea pigs and pretending like this life is destined to await them, regardless of what health decisions we make for them?

My youngest almost-vax free son has NONE of these conditions. Coincidence? I very much doubt it.

From one mum who has seen first hand the damage that vaccines have done to her eldest child, I am asking people to please wake up. We are destroying out childrens lives through the overuse of vaccines.

    • We do have a huge problem on our hands! Thanks for sharing your story. My story is similar. There was no autism in my family until this generation. I have one child with autism and two of my cousins have children with autism or ADHD. -L

    • Very well said! It is very scary what is happening. You need to read the book Healing the New Childhood Epidemics: Autism, ADHD, Asthma and Allergies by Kenneth Bock.

  3. Yes! I can’t say enough how important it is to get the word out – this is a tremendously important video. I, too, did my own research because doctors were useless and condescending in dealing with my sons’ sensory processing disorder, acid reflux, developmental delays, allergies, asthma, eczema and failure to thrive. My sons are now mostly recovered. I am now a board member of Epidemic Answers, a non-profit whose goals are to provide information to parents of children with autism, ADHD, allergies, asthma, SPD, OCD, chronic ear infections, eczema, speech delays, developmental delays and autoimmune diseases. We want to let them know that recovery is possible, and we are making a documentary about it. For more info, you can find us at http://epidemicanswers.org

  5. I used to be a teacher. There is even more than that. Environment. Breaking up of family and community. Lack of purpose, joy, and play. Focus on obtaining things instead of giving love….sigh. Sam

    • So you’ve seen it first hand. One of our other readers made the point that it is now the “neurotypical” child who is rare, versus all the children with learning difficulties and we agree! -Molly & Leah

  6. Reblogged this on No Compulsory Vaccination and commented:
It’s getting to the point where it is the neurotypical child who people comment on rather than those with issues such as autism, ADD, ADHD, dyslexia and other neurological issues. Parents are starting to assume that their kids will have asthma, allergies, eczema or diabetes at some point rather than expecting a life of good health into the future. When are we going to wake up?

  7. Over 10 years ago now, the Australian Vaccination Network conducted a series of seminars in Northern NSW and Southern QLD with Paul Shattuck from the UK and Dr Robyn Cosford from Sydney on the subject of autism. One of the seminars was in Lismore NSW which is quite rural and we received a call from a very small composite school (where all of the classes are in one room) about 25 miles outside of town with only 30 students in the entire school. One teacher and 2 teacher’s aides worked there and they all wanted to come to the seminar because out of only 30 students, 3 of them were autistic and 2 had ADHD and were on medication!

This was 10 years ago now! Today, there is an entire school being built in Tweed Heads (about 50 miles north of Lismore) for children with learning difficulties and behavioural problems. An entire school just for these kids!

But there is no need to panic or to ask inconvenient questions such as just WHY are so many kids learning disabled, autistic and sick today. Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain…

Keep up the great work ladies – I love reading and sharing your blog.

    • Thanks so much for re blogging and helping us spread the word on this! We think it’s really important. We love your point that it is now the “neurotypical child” who is rare, versus children with the various types of learning difficulties. You are so right when you said that parents just automatically assume that their child will be born with something – allergies, eczema, asthma, ADHD… We don’t understand why most people don’t realize that this is not normal. We cannot be complacent about this. Asking and answering the question about why this is happening is so important. -Molly & Leah

  9. There are so many reasons our kids are imbalanced. I suppose we are as adults too! I found this from Dr. Rapp to help fight against vaccinations: http://www.drrapp.com/2012/05/29/prior-to-vaccinating-your-child-sign-this/ . It offers a list of ingredients in vaccinations as well!

    • I spoke with Dr. Rapp by phone about my daughter’s allergies. She is a wealth of knowledge and has a great sense of humor. I like the idea of asking your doctor to sign a waiver stating he/she is aware of vaccine ingredients and that they are safe. I would loved to have seen the look on my doctor’s face if I had done that! 🙂 Thanks for sharing this great information. -Molly

  11. We were having this exact convo at my house over the weekend. My friend who is a high school science teacher says in her class of 30, she has 19 kids with 504’s or IEP’s. What?!?!?! I think there’s a definite genetic factor but also a HUGE environmental factor.

    • Shocking…over half the class with 504’s or IEP’s! Thanks for verifying there is truth to these statistics. We believe there are definitely environmental factors at play here. -L&M
